Love Auditorium at Levine Science Research Center

Directions to Scott Horton's Thursday evening keynote address, The Unresolved Legacy of Guantanamo at Love Auditorium at Levine Science Research Center (LSRC).

Note: Those wishing to drop off attendees may do so at the curve off Lasalle Street before it runs into Research Drive. Take Lasalle Street from Erwin Road and locate the NE corner of the Levine Building at the curve; then the passenger can walk around the building to the South entrance and the driver can take a left back to Erwin Road via Science Drive.

From points east

  1. I-40 W to exit 279B to merge onto NC 147 N Durham freeway toward Durham/Downtown
  2. Take the Elba St/Trent Dr exit
  3. Slight left at Trent Dr
  4. Turn right at Erwin Rd
  5. Turn left at Research Dr. At the traffic circle / roundabout intersection, take the 2nd exit to stay on Research Dr
  6. To reach the building entrance for drop off and parking behind the LSRC, take the first right after Research Drive crosses Circuit Drive at a rotary / roundabout intersection. This is LSRC Drive.

From points west, south or northwest

  1. Follow I-40 E to just past Efland and follow exit 163 onto I-85 N
  2. From I-85 N Take exit number 172, NC 147 S, towards "Durham/Downtown/Research Triangle Park."
  3. You will now be on the Durham Freeway (NC 147)
  4. Take exit 15B for Fulton St toward Hillandale Rd
  5. Turn right at Fulton St and follow it for .3 miles
  6. Take the 3rd right onto Erwin Rd
  7. Take the 2nd left onto Research Dr
  8. At the traffic circle / roundabout intersection, take the 2nd exit and stay on Research Dr
  9. To reach the building entrance for drop off and parking behind the LSRC, take the first right after Research Drive crosses Circuit Drive at a rotary / roundabout intersection. This is LSRC Drive.
